Position Overview:
Zindagi Trust is seeking a dedicated and passionate LSBE Teacher to implement our Life Skills Based Education (LSBE) Program at one of our adopted government girls’ schools. In this essential role, you will deliver the LSBE curriculum, engage students in meaningful learning experiences and collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery:
- Implement the LSBE curriculum effectively in the classroom.
- Ensure that teaching materials are current and align with educational standards and objectives.
Student Engagement:
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and engagement.
- Use diverse instructional strategies to meet the varied learning needs of students.
Assessment and Feedback:
- Assess student understanding and progress through various evaluation methods, including formative assessments and feedback.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other teachers and school administrators to align LSBE programs with school goals.
- Participate in team meetings to share best practices and collaborate on curriculum development and lesson planning.
Professional Development:
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and advancements in LSBE education.
- Actively participate in workshops and training sessions to enhance teaching skills.
Resource Development:
- Develop and utilize teaching resources, including lesson plans, instructional materials and assessment tools.
- Share innovative teaching aids and strategies with colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in LSBE or related subjects.
Skills:
- Knowledge of LSBE or related content and instructional strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and implement effective teaching methods.
- Proficiency in educational technology and resource management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
