About Zindagi Trust
Zindagi Trust is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that strives to improve the quality of education available to the average Pakistani. Our areas of work include reforming public schools, educating working children and lobbying the government to improve education policy. Our flagship projects of school reform are at two government schools in Karachi which have been transformed into vibrant centres of learning through a combination of infrastructural development, administrative upheaval, academic reforms, student development and teacher development. The Trust is supported largely by gifts from individual donors and a few corporate donors.
Reports To: Manager Marketing & Communication
Role and Responsibilities:
· Support project planning and implementation, ensuring that activities are carried out in accordance with project timelines, budgets, and objectives.
· Develop and produce high-quality project-related content such as proposals, reports, and presentations.
· Coordinate project-related activities, such as meetings, travels, and other events.
· Lead outreach efforts, engaging with project partners and stakeholders to build relationships and ensure effective collaboration.
· Manage project volunteers, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
· Liaise with project Points of Contact (POCs) and partners, providing regular updates and responding to queries and concerns.
· Support project evaluation efforts, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
· Monitor project performance, identifying risks and opportunities and making recommendations for improvement.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards.
Education and Experience:
Education:
· Bachelors in Marketing, Business, Communication, or Media
Experience:
· Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Skills:
· Excellent oral communication skills in English and Urdu
· Excellent written communication skills in English
