Students participate in Seeds of Peace National Integration Camp

Seeds of Peace (SOP), an international organisation working to instil the ideas of peace especially in the youth, organized a week-long National Integration Camp in Islamabad where 50 youth leaders from Pakistanís five major cities came together to identify, understand and solve problems that have solutions in peace. Three of our Class 10 students, Areeba, Maryam and Alina were selected for the camp after a rigorous evaluation consisting of written and oral tests as well as a series of interviews. Annual Sports Day at SMB Fatima Jinnah Govt Girls School

This year, for the first time, a separate Sports Day was also held for the Junior Section. All 230 students of Kindergarten put up a colourful and well-coordinated PT display, sporting T-shirts of their house colour. They also took part in cheer-leading, turtle race, ball collection race, water race, modelling as well as exceptional cultural and modern dances. Students of Classes 4 and 5 presented a beautiful demo of taekwondo skills. .

Inter-House Scrabble Tournament at SMB

SMB Fatima Jinnah Government Girls School held its 4th Inter-House Scrabble Tournament featuring 34 students from Classes 6 and 7. The game of Scrabble is a great, fun way of expanding and sharpening the English vocabulary of our students, or those in any Urdu-medium school. EFS, Zindagi Trust sign MoU on teachers' training

Education Fund for Sindh (EFS) will train the teachers associated with Zindagi Trust (ZT) to help them track progress in the learning levels of students. In this regard, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two organisations, under which EFS will train the teachers of government schools, being managed by a noted Non Governmental Organization (NGO), to use Early Grade Assessment (EGA) tools developed by EFS. .
