Teachers integrated the day celebration with subjects; English, Urdu & Islamiat. At the end of the day children & teachers prayed for their mothers’ long life & good health.

Working children enrolled in our Paid to Learn programme across Pakistan celebrated Mother’s Day in school through a variety of activities integrated into their English, Urdu and Islamiat classes.

The students wrote and presented poems to demonstrate their love and respect for their mothers. They also created colourful paintings to communicate how they felt about their mothers’ roles in their lives. Their teachers joined them in paying tribute to mothers and highlighted the hardships and sacrifices mothers endure for the sake of their children. The day ended with the children and teachers saying a special prayer for their long life and good health of their mothers.
