| Fatima Jinnah students participate in Inter-School Speech Competition 2011-2012 |

| Students from the SMB Fatima Jinnah Government Girls School participated in the Inter-School Speech Competition held on the morning of the 14th December 2011 at the Pilot Government High Secondary School. The goal of the competition was to develop in the youth of Pakistan a passion for their country, to make them aware of Islamic values and to inculcate in them a drive to make Pakistan a stable, progressive, confident and self-reliant nation.. |

| Inter-House Throwball Competition held at SMB Fatima Jinnah School |

| Zindagi Trust’s school management has introduced Inter-House tournaments for the major sports played at SMB Fatima Jinnah School. This past Saturday, the Inter-House Throwball Tournament was held where teams representing each of the four Houses (Red, Green, Yellow and Blue) took the field and the non-playing students watched and cheered their House.. |

| Declamation Contest & Public Speaking Class at Fatima Jinnah School |

| The three months ending December 2011 saw the initiation of a new learning module at SMB Fatima Jinnah Government Girls School: Public Speaking. Ehab Ansari, a debate coach with national and international accolades, spearheaded the Module which aimed to build the most basic of communication skills amongst students of Class 7. Each of the seven sections had two classes of Public Speaking a week. Within those classes, students were taught to confront their stage fright, build confidence, project their voice, modulate their tone and write the basic components of a speech. |
